Thanks for helping me get back up again!!!
I came to Mike depressed and unhappy with my physical appearance. I had been a triathlete for the six years prior. I have done everything from sprint distances to full Ironman (140.3) distances. My identity was tied to triathlon until I had a freak accident that caused a traumatic brain injury. I was advised by my doctor that I should no longer ride bikes. I was truly devastated as the bike portion was by far my best and favorite event. I fell into a depression and gained some unwanted weight.
As a result my self-confidence was affected. Then I met Mike and found his charisma to be infectious. His encouragement got me pushing myself again. In no time, I found myself enjoying working out again, feeling better about myself, and out of the depression. My body is changing every day! I have lost inches and am defining my body. I really enjoy Mike’s workouts and his style of coaching.
He makes me want to do better, to work harder. He has such a great depth of knowledge in fitness. I completely trust his methodology of combining exercise, nutrition, and mental toughness. His encouragement, kindness, and passion make me want to strive to be a better athlete. There is something contagious about Mike that is really hard to explain but once you meet him you will know what I am talking about. I really could not give a higher recommendation for a coach. If you want to get stronger, move better, reshape your body, and build your self-confidence, Mike is the coach for you.
I’m feeling so much better. I can’t say enough on your behalf. Jen and I had a hard time coming up with words to express our gratitude. By time you get to my age (57 years old) and you’ve done a ton of different types of sports/workouts you know a gem when you see it. Trent, my husband, felt the same way. After the first workout and he knew. Words can’t do justice for how we feel.
